Biography
Dr Lesley Seebeck is an independent consultant and an honorary professor at the Australian National University.
Dr Seebeck was the CEO of the Cyber Institute, ANU, from 2018 to 2020, and has undertaken the roles of Chief Investment and Advisory Officer at the Digital Transformation Agency (2017-2018) and Chief Information Officer at the Bureau of Meteorology (2014-2017). In March 2017, she was recognised as Federal Government CIO of the Year. Dr Seebeck has extensive experience in strategy, policy, management, budget, information technology and research roles in the Australian Public Service, industry and academia.
She has worked in the Departments of Finance, Defence, and the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Office of National Assessments, and as an IT and management consultant in private industry, and at three universities.
