Biography
Isabelle Bond is a Climate Security Analyst with ASPI’s Climate and Security Policy Centre and a Research Associate of the Climate Change and (In) Security Project, a joint initiative between the University of Oxford and the British Army’s Centre for Historical and Armed Conflict Research (CHACR).
Bond is also a casual lecturer at the Australian National University’s National Security College and has previously held positions within the Australian Government as an International Policy Officer with the Department of Defence, and on the investigations team at the Clean Energy Regulator.
She holds a BA in Antarctic and Marine Governance from the University of Tasmania and an MA in Strategic Studies from the Australian National University. Bond’s research focuses on the nexus between climate security and intelligence, some of which she has published with the International Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence and the Australian Journal of International Affairs.
