Afeeya Akhand is a Research Intern at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.

Afeeya completed a Masters in International Security with a Korean language specialisation at the University of Sydney. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Finance from the Australian National University.

Afeeya's research interests include South Asian foreign policy, soft power and far-right extremism.
